For venue teams
Marketing consultancy for late-night venues
Get clear on what to fix next.
A paid working session for venue owners, managers and organisers with competing questions about demand, advertising, bookings, customer follow-up or the systems behind the night.
What the session is for
A clearer order of work.
- Choose the most important problem.Work out which decision is holding back the next commercial move instead of treating every gap as equally urgent.
- Use the evidence that exists.Review the offer, spend, paths and customer information already available without pretending partial data answers every question.
- Leave with a responsible next step.Set a practical order of action for your own team, a specialist supplier or a defined Nightshift scope where it fits.
The questions behind the work
What we look at before calling the answer.
Not every session covers every area. We set the working question first, then use the time where it is useful.
- 01
Demand and advertising
What the venue is spending to create demand, what that spend is meant to achieve and whether the current creative, offer and measurement can support the decision being made.
- 02
The offer and commercial opportunity
The opportunities worth prioritising: private hire, group bookings, venue buyouts, corporate events, promoted nights or a recurring venue programme.
- 03
Website, booking and enquiry paths
Where a potential customer lands, what they understand, how they enquire or buy and where the current path is creating avoidable friction.
- 04
Customer records and follow-up
What useful information is retained, what can be used with the appropriate permission and whether practical follow-up is being missed.
- 05
Ownership and the next decision
What the team can reasonably own, what needs a specialist and the next move worth making before another budget, brief or system is approved.
Paid working sessions
Two formats. One clearer decision.
These are paid sessions, not free audits disguised as a sales call. We confirm fit and availability before a payment link is issued.

Event Campaign Review
A 75-minute working review of ticket release, offer, paid promotion and conversion for an upcoming event or series. Nightshift helps amplify the event; it does not run it.A$399 + GSTSee the review scopeThe outcome may be a defined marketing scope, an implementation path, Platform access, a broader Venue Transformation conversation—or simply a clearer plan for your existing team. Nothing is bundled by default.

How is consultancy different from agency work?
Consultancy is for deciding what matters first. Agency work is the agreed delivery after that decision: for example paid campaigns, creator coordination, a website or a defined customer-follow-up build. The work, responsibilities and fees are scoped separately.
What do we leave the session with?
A concise written priority order, the evidence and assumptions behind it, a named next action and the practical question to review next. It is not an oversized strategy deck or a promise that every issue can be solved in one session.
Do we have to use Nightshift for the work afterwards?
No. You can continue with your own team, another supplier or a defined Nightshift scope where it is the right fit. The session is not designed to force a platform, ongoing retainer or build.
Is this the same as venue platform onboarding?
No. Consultancy addresses competing commercial and marketing decisions. Platform onboarding maps and configures technology once the implementation need is clear. You do not need to commit to a platform build to discuss the decision in front of you.
Tell us who is making the decision and what needs unblocking. We will confirm whether a paid working session is the right starting point.
